Suzanne Bona of SUNDAY BAROQUE is coming to the opening concert of the WFM SUMMER CONCERT FESTIVAL!

She will be flying in from Cincinnati to moderate the concert on July 22 at 5:30pm at the Historic Meeting House on the Green.

A highlight of the evening will be the special benefit dinner with Suzanne, generously hosted by Charles and Barbara Robinson at their beautiful house and famous Brush Hill Gardens.

Suzanne is pleased to meet and greet the audience at a post-concert bubbly reception. Before the concert she will give a talk at 4pm at the GUNN LIBRARY about Sunday Baroque, the program she first created here in Connecticut thirty years ago and is broadcast by over one hundred of stations around the globe. Tune in on Sunday from 7am to 1pm on WSHU 91.1 Radio!

At the concert nine members of THE NEW BAROQUE SOLOISTS under the leadership of Douglas Myers will perform world premiere arrangements of Bach, Vivaldi, Torelli, and Quantz, many inspired by Suzanne’s program.

Tickets for concert and benefit dinner at WashingtonCT4MusicTake advantage of the four-concert discount!

Registration for the pre-concert talk, open to the public, is requested by the Gunn Library in Washington 860.868.7586.

The WFM Summer Concert Festival continues on July 29, Aug. 5, and 12 with further special features.
